The result that was gathered from the
assessment of the student reading Whales and Fish had revealed a substantial
amount of reading goals. The accuracy rate of the child was at 95% in resulting to the child being able to read the
passage close to completing it fully without any errors. The student had
challenges in terms of needing support in finding what sentence or sounding out
the word when it became difficult. The child as you hear in the video had
behaved and was not loud or upset in accepting help. The error rate was at a 1:18, which means that for every error made the
student kept on reading the next 18 words correctly. Another great strength
about the child was the self-correction rate, which was a 1:5. What this meant was that the student was able to
correct 1 of the 5 errors he made during the reading.

amazing listening to a child give explicit details on what they read having a
great memory skill and connection of Whales and Fish. This remarkable child when assessed
